a.rmnv.a (Anastasiia Romanova) is an artist of Ukrainian origin, living and working in Germany. Creativity has accompanied her since childhood: drawing became a means of self-understanding and a way to express what cannot easily be articulated through words.
In 2022, following the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, she relocated to Berlin. This period marked a profound turning point: the experienced upheavals heightened her emotional sensitivity and transformed art into a central instrument of inner dialogue.
In Berlin, she completed her studies in Art Direction and graphic design, expanding her visual thinking and contributing to the formation of her distinct artistic identity.
After relocating to Baden-Württemberg, she shifted her focus toward painting and the development of her independent artistic practice.
Her artistic language emerges at the intersection of contemporary figurative minimalism and soft neo-pop. Working with pure color, flowing lines, and simplified silhouettes, she creates emotionally charged compositions that balance clarity and intimacy.
